The Economy will not love you.

But I could.

The Economy cannot feed you.

But I’d try.

The Economy won’t stop eating children.

So I cry:

I think we should topple the beast!

Why is it always needing appeased?

It must have an awful disease

Let’s drive it into the seas

For The Economy isn’t

Some abstract laws derived

From the fabric of Nature

Some Economists lied.

And they did this to hide

The monstrous theft of our wealth

By ever-fewer villains.

Billionaires don’t have our hearts

No, they don’t feel any feelings.

Like the end of a Scooby gig,

We would unmask our foe;

The Economy was just men!

How did they get so big?

No one pretends to know

They often come from wealth themselves

They have never worked hard, not once

These are always deploying new fronts,

So much bullshit told as true

While they steal the food from you

While they destroy our only Earth

While they tell us we have no worth.

I disagree, for sure.

From the day of our birth

There’s some things we all deserve:

We all should get a chance

To live through our situation

Then we’ll all join the dance

Bringing the world what it needs;

Salvation.
